"Northern world" in Yakutia is divided into two parts

 IA SakhaNews. One of the 14 Far Eastern territories of priority development "Northern world", which was supposed to create in Yakutia, is divided into two parts, ITAR-TASS reports. According to Economy Minister of Yakutia Valery Maksimov, the priority development territory will consists of a tourist and recreation cluster "Northern mosaic" and Jewelry and Lapidary Complex "Diamond Valley".

“On the recommendation of Minvostokrazvitiya we divided this priority development territory into two territories of priority socio-economic development - Jewelry and Lapidary Complex "Diamond Valley" in Yakutsk and tourism cluster "Northern mosaic" in the village of Tabaga 30 km away from Yakutsk.  At the same time they preserve ideological and conceptual connection between them”, - said the Minister.

According to Maximov, investments in the amount of 2.5 billion rubles are necessary for tourism cluster "Northern mosaic" to build the infrastructure, for the "Diamond Valley" - 1.7 billion rubles.

In total, the implementation of these two projects, according to the Ministry of Industry of Yakutia, will require more than 10 billion rubles.

At the same time Minvostokrazvitiya has not yet made a final decision on tourism and recreation cluster "Northern mosaic".

The list of the 14 priority development territories in the Far East includes another Yakut project - a composite cluster for the production of building materials from basalt raw material. Totally 17.5 billion rubles are necessary for it, including 2.5 billion rubles to build the infrastructure.
