"Yakutia" Airline Company discussed prospects of cooperation with Korean Air

The delegation of Korean Air made an official visit to Yakutsk. The key topic of the meeting was the prospects for cooperation between the two Airlines to share experiences in different aspects of business.

The delegation consisted of Regional Director, Vice President of the Company's Head-Office in Russia and CIS Mr. Song Yong Bo and Sales and Contracts Manager Sergey Yanitsyn.

After a tour of the terminal and airfield of the airport "Yakutsk" representatives of the South Korean carrier held a business meeting in the office of the "Yakutia" Airline Company. The meeting was attended by the "Yakutia" Airline Supervisory Personnel, headed by CEO Olga Fedorova, including Representative in the Republic of Korea Raphael Hong.

The Korean party expressed its gratitude for the warm welcome and expressed interest in expanding the activities in the Far East. Olga Fedorova in her opening speech outlined a concept of the "Yakutia" Airline Company and priority activities, noting:” We place a high priority on maintenance and improvement of the quality of services”. She also stressed that "Yakutia" actively develops flight map in the Far East, as well as international routes from regional centers. In the summer of 2014 the Airline resumed seasonal flights from Yakutsk to Seoul and opened a new route Ulan-Ude - Seoul. Also the Company considers a possibility of flights to the capital of the Republic of Korea from Blagoveshchensk and Krasnoyarsk.

Mr. Song Yong Bo informed on readiness of Korean Air to interact and work together in the field of safety, service and other aspects.

In conclusion of the meeting the Parties expressed wishes to continue development of partnership relations.
