South Yakutia Development Corporation to cooperate with Spanish-Chinese Group

 In early June, Yakutia Permanent Representation in Moscow headed by Alexei Struchkov, First Deputy Prime Minister, Permanent Representative of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), under the President of the Russian Federation, hosted a meeting where  South Yakutia Development Corporation and Spanish-Chinese Group signed a memorandum of understanding.

The Memorandum was signed by Mikhail Bruk, Director General of South Yakutia Development Corporation, and Jorge Lacasa, General Manager of SCG, President of EL&A.

The Group is formed of large Chinese corporations TBEA and CAMCE, as well as the Spanish industrial group ELECNOR and Enterprise Lacasa & Associates.

The Memorandum has defined the main directions of cooperation in order to implement investment projects in the power industry and infrastructure, as well as other priority areas in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). With signing of the document, South Yakutia Development Corporation becomes the exclusive consultant of Spanish-Chinese Group on all matters relating to the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

Commenting on the event, Jorge Lacasa, General Manager of SCG, President of EL&A said that the Group thinks it to be an honour to work with the largest region of the Russian Federation. 'SCG is not involved in politics, but only in business. Yakutia plays a very important role for the development of not only Russia, but also the entire Asia-Pacific region. We understand how well South Yakutia Development Corporation knows the situation there with the power and other industries. Today, in the face of the Corporation we have gained a reliable partner in Russia,'- said Jorge Lacasa.

Alexei Struchkov wished the parties new achievements and projects for the sake of the sustainable economic development of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China.
