Workshop of Ideas: NEFU students develop social projects

NEFU students have offered the Federal University projects of new forms of extracurricular activities. Four best projects will be financed in 2014.

According to organizers, the competition represents various projects as Electronic Database of Oral and Visual History of the Peoples of Yakutia, Development of Android-App: NEFU News, Project on Arrangement of Public Food Places in NEFU Institutions and Improvement the Culture Level of Students, and many others.

“The competitive selection has been held in two nominations: Development of Social and Cultural Environment and New Competencies. After the first stage of the competition, we have selected 21 projects; 13 projects have entered the final. There will be public presentation of the winning projects and the awards ceremony at the competition summing-up. Each nomination will have two winners, will be provided the opportunity of including their projects in the activities plan of the Students’ Development Office in 2014 and get financing. According to the competition results, each participant will receive a certificate of participation and memorable prizes”, Elena Anisimova, a specialist of NEFU Students’ Development Office, said.

The competition Workshop of Ideas is carried out in order to promote socially significant, innovative and practical works of curators, the teaching staff, departments and academic units aimed at creation of new forms of extracurricular work with students through project initiatives.

The projects protection will be held on December 16 and 17 at 4:00 pm in Room 510 of the Educational Laboratory Building (ULK) of NEFU.
