Yakut delegation took part in Temperance Movement Conference in Sevastopol

 XXIII Conference-Seminar on sobriology, prevention, social pedagogy and alcology on "History of the World Temperance Movement"took place September 20-30 in Sevastopol.

The goal of the Conference: Studying the history of the World temperance movement; specialists training in the field of prevention and overcoming addictions and codependency; exchange of best practices in creation of healthy sober lifestyle.

It brought together the leaders of public organizations of world reputation. The Conference was held in the form of seminars, lectures, master classes and round tables.

For the first time in the history of Yakutia public activists received medals for their contribution to the temperance movement, for 100th anniversary of Prohibition.  The following persons were awarded such a high rank of a temperance movement veteran: K.G.Basharin (Head of the NEFU Department of Pathological Anatomy, MD, Professor, Academician of International Academy of Sobriety), Z.K.Basharina (Head of the NEFU Yakut literature Department, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Academician of International Academy of Sobriety) and V.K.Kuzmina (Professor of IAS).

Our public activists have successfully spoken at the conference with presentations, which were highly appreciated by the community members from all over the world.

It is important to note that the generalization of experience and summarizing are necessary for further work.
