Tomtor village opened the first experimental school in the republic

Every year the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) construct 10 schools under the Investment Program. In order to qualitatively and timely carry out the work plan, they develop and use new technologies of buildings construction of light steel structures of the frame-panel system.

On December 14, the village of Tomtor of Megino-Kangalassky Region solemnly opened a new building of the ungraded school for 80 children.

“There are 85 children in our village. Such schools are just suitable for the villages as our Tomtor. The school was started constructing just in June. Another distinguishing characteristic of this building construction is screw piles, not concrete ones as before. Besides, the building frame is filled with basalt. The school is very warm. I think the construction is very robust”, Miron Svinoboev, the Head of Tomtorsky nasleg of Megino-Kangalassky Region, said.
