Tajikistan presidential elections in Yakutsk

 On November 6, from 8.00 am till 8.00 pm the Republican Department for Peoples Affairs held Tajikistan presidential elections. The voting station was organized to provide an opportunity for temporary or permanent residents of Yakutia – citizens of Tajikistan - to participate in the election.

The Election Commission was given a special room with all the necessary equipment: a phone, voting booths, stationary and portable voting boxes, and information stands. Officers of the Republic Interior Ministry were monitoring the safety.
Besides Yakutsk, such stations were opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tver, Tula, Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Kaliningrad, Saratov, Volgograd, Kazan, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Astrakhan, Ekaterinburg, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Samara, Perm, Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk.
