National Unity Day in Yakutsk began with floral tribute at the monument of Yakutia and Russia friendship

The National Unity Day on November 4 began in Yakutsk at the Moscow Embankment with the laying of flowers to the stele of the 375th anniversary of Yakutia entry into the Russian State, with the participation of Republic Government members, People’s deputies, representatives of national communities, and social and youth organizations.
The audience was greeted by the Head of the Presidential Administration and Yakutia Government Yury Kupriyanov on behalf of the republic leadership. “It is symbolic that we meet today's holiday here at the monument to the 375th anniversary of Yakutia entry into the Russian State. It emphasizes the unity and cohesion of modern Russia. I congratulate all the citizens of the republic and want to wish each of you to share kindness and light with your family and friends”, he said.
