Pokrovsk held “Let Children Be Safe!” campaign

In one of the last days of September, officers of STSI MIA in Khangalassky region together with the Young Traffic Inspectors of Pokrovsk Secondary School No 2 held a preventive campaign “Let Children Be Safe!” on the streets of Pokrovsk town of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to reduce child road and traffic injuries.

Pupils urged road users to be more careful near schools and kindergartens, and recalled that they must carry young passengers in special car seats or with the use of child restraints. Of course, traffic police young assistants could not draw up protocols on offenders, but they once more informed drivers that the fine for violation of rules of children transportation had amounted to 3,000 rubles from September 1 of this year.
