Yakuts to participate in breaking the circle dance record in China

The first International Festival of the Russian Song will start on August 15 in the Chinese city of Dalian. On August 22 there will be an action “Circle Dance of the World – 2013” in different world languages and a presentation of culture, traditions and national dresses. “Circle Dance of the World – 2013” will be coincided with an opening of the Museum of the Soviet Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the liberation of China by the Soviet Army.
“Osuokhay” NGO is going to take an active part in this event. Let us recall that the Guinness record for the largest circle dance in the world was set last year at Ysyakh of Tuymaada. This event caused a great resonance not only in Russia but also throughout the world, including China.

Chairman of “Osuokhay”, Alexander Danilov, commented: “The record for the circle dance will be broken at the largest square Xinghai in Dalian. The organizers promise that over 25,000 people will participate in the record breaking”.
