Yakutia at Moscow Exhibition

On June 13 the exhibition will be opened for visitors and will run through September 7, 2013.

The exhibition will tell about life and the history of Yakutia and its political and socio-economic development at the present stage.

The section about the state structure of the Republic will present state awards and the symbolism, the administrative-territorial division, photos and materials reflecting the government, youth government and parliament activities and the development of local self-government.

The exhibition will display also achievements in various economy industries in the form of scientific researches of the institutes of the Yakutia Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Yakutsk Research Institute of Agriculture, the Technology Park of Yakutsk and the Arctic Innovation Center of the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov and exhibits of the Museum of History of Permafrost Study.

The separate section will be devoted to social policy with demonstration of achievements in the area of ​​housing, education, medicine, and culture.

Besides, there will be materials about the International Sports Games “Children of Asia” and achievements of Yakutian athletes in the international arena among the exhibits.

The exhibition is prepared in cooperation with the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) under the President of the Russian Federation and the Yakut State Museum of History and Culture of the Northern Peoples named after E. Yaroslavsky.
