Young Yakuts succeeded at the All-Russian contest “My legislative initiative”

On May 22 - 24 Moscow hosted the VIII All-Russian youth competition for educational institutions and research organizations in search of the best work on the topic “My Legislative Initiative”, which was traditionally organized under the patronage of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The competition received works on legislative initiative of 480 participants from 65 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was presented by students of the Yakutsk Technology College of Service, the Yakutsk Industrial and Pedagogical College, the Vocational School No 7 and a 10-grade pupil of the Khorobutskaya School of Megino-Kangalassky region.

According to the results of the contest, Diana Novikova, Aiylana Sergucheva and Maria Egorova took the 2nd places in the direction “Social Policy”; Stepan Egorov also took the 2nd place in the direction “State building and constitutional rights of citizens”; Vladimir Malkin took the 3rd place in the direction “Social Policy” with his work “Problems of orphanage research in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)”.
