Yakutian students to participate in the Chinese language competition

Students from ten universities of the Far East and Trans-Baikal will take part in a regional competition on the Chinese language which has started on Tuesday in Vladivostok’s Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).

The competition will be held in two rounds with participation of 27 students from Vladivostok, Birobidzhan, Blagoveshchensk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Ulan-Ude, Ussuriisk, Khabarovsk, Chita and Yakutsk.

In the first round, the contestants will present prepared reports about culture, traditions, and scientific achievements of China and answer questions of jury. In the second round, the participants will perform artistic presentation of traditional Chinese arts – Wu Shu or folk dances.
