On September 20 the Bombardier Dash-8Q 300 aircraft started scheduled passenger flights.

Flight 429 took off on schedule at 8.05 am. Aircraft commander - instructor pilot Konstantin Gneushev. 34 passengers and one child were on board.

Today, a new type of plane makes regular flights from Yakutsk to Mirny and Neryungri. In the near future the Airline "Yakutia" plans to schedule Bombardier Q300 for flights to Batagai, Ust - Nera and Srednekolymsk, the press service of the Airline "Yakutia" reports.

According to flight attendant Guljamal Hizikova, all passengers were satisfied with comfort and convenience of the passenger cabin.

High-speed turboprop airliners Dash 8/Q produced by Bombardier Aircraft Corporation have a minimal impact on the environment, low noise and fuel efficiency. Such characteristics as the possibility of landing on unpaved airfields with short runways and the possibility of operation at extremely low temperatures, open great prospects for flights to the airports of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In the near future the Airline "Yakutia" will receive two more aircrafts of this type, designed to replace the AN-24 aircraft. The lessor is American Leasing Company "CASTLELAKE", with the participation of the "ALROSA" Airlines.
